Roger Clemens Houston Astros home jersey dating from the 2006 season. The white knit pinstripe jersey displays the team name, "Astros," embroidered across the front in multicolor stitching (black/tan/red/gray). The number "22" appears on the left breast and reverse. "Clemens" is lettered on the reverse above the number. All front numerals are appliquéd in red tackle twill. All reverse letters and numerals are appliquéd in tricolor tackle twill (black/tan/red). An Astros 2006 "45th Anniversary" patch appears on the right sleeve, while the left sleeve displays a team-logo patch. The manufacturer"™s tags have been removed from the front tail (common for Clemens"™ jerseys; removed at his request). Aside from the manufacturer"™s tags having been removed, the jersey is completely original, with no other alterations, and displays light use. 2006 was Clemens"™ penultimate season in the Major Leagues. He started nineteen games for the Astros, finishing the year with a 7-6 record and a 2.30 ERA. In addition to winning a record seven Cy Young Awards, Clemens is one of only twenty-two pitchers to win 300 or more games (his total of 354 places him eighth on the all-time list), and his 4,672 strikeouts is second only to Nolan Ryan.
