Manny Rameriz Boston Red Sox home jersey dating from the 2002 season. The white knit jersey is lettered "Red Sox" on the front and features the number "24" on the reverse. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in red on navy tackle twill. Located on the front tail are a "Russell Athletic" label, a "52" size tag, a tag reading "+2 inch Extra Length," and a white strip tag displaying the year ("2002") in black lettering. Original and unaltered, the jersey displays light wear throughout. Considered one of the greatest hitters of the modern era, Rameriz"™s current totals heading into the 2008 season include a .313 lifetime average, 490 home runs (twenty-sixth on the all-time list), and 1,604 RBI (twenty-eighth on the all-time list). Barring injury, he will join baseball"™s legendary 500 Home Run Cub this coming season and will almost certainly finish his career among the top ten in RBI. Rameriz enjoyed another banner season in 2002, batting a League-leading .349 with 33 home runs and 107 RBI.
