Alex Rodriguez Seattle Mariners road jersey dating from the 2000 season. The gray knit jersey is lettered "Seattle" across the front and features the number "3" on the reverse. "Rodriguez" is lettered on the reverse above the number. All front letters are appliquéd in tricolor tackle twill (navy/teal/white). All reverse letters and numerals are appliquéd in navy on teal tackle twill. A Seattle Mariners team patch appears on the left sleeve. Situated on the left front tail are a "Russell Athletic" label, a "2000" year tag, a "50" size tag, and a flag tag reading "+2 Extra Length." The jersey is completely original, with no alterations, and displays light use. At the age of thirty-one Alex Rodriguez has already amassed 464 home runs and 1,347 RBI, while maintaining a .305 career average. Include his two MVP Awards and one can easily understand why he is considered by many to be the greatest player in the game today. "A-Rod" was at the top of his game in 2000, batting .316 with 41 home runs and 132 RBI. Graded A5 by MEARS (no post-1987 jersey can achieve a higher grade than A5 without additional provenance).
