Presented is one of the most stunning Mickey Mantle signed pieces in the Halper Collection that decorated Barry's wall for many years: an original oil on canvas painting by Robert Simon. Mickey Mantle was a great friend of Barry Halper and a frequent visitor to his home. Mantle has beautifully inscribed the piece in blue Sharpie ("9") just to the left of his image, "To Barry - My Best Wishes - Your Friend - Mickey Mantle." The painting is also signed by the artist in the lower left. The painting measures 24 x 30 inches and has been framed to slightly larger dimensions. LOA from James Spence/JSA.
