Offered here are two attractive 1960s souvenirs from Mickey Mantle"™s Holiday Inn, each signed by Mickey Mantle. The first item is a real photo postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) that pictures Mantle posing in the hotel"™s "Dugout Lounge." Mantle has signed the card in black Sharpie ("10") across the front. The postcard has never been mailed and is in Excellent condition. The second item is a Mickey Mantle's Holiday Inn hotel stationery envelope (6.5 x 3.5 inches) featuring two images of Mantle batting, one right-handed and one left-handed, as part of the design of the preprinted logo. This is a very rare envelope. Mantle has signed the envelope in blue ink ("10") on the front. In Near Mint condition. Mickey Mantle"™s Holiday Inn was located in Joplin, Missouri, and today souvenir items from the hotel are still enthusiastically sought after by Mantle collectors. Barry Halper"™s collection at one time boasted numerous mementoes from Mantle"™s Holiday Inn, including a piece of the "Dugout Lounge" carpet pictured in the postcard.
