The vintage black ink signature of music legend Stevie Wonder appears on the sheet music for his 1968 hit Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day. Wonder has signed the sheet music in black ink ("8") along the base of the cover, inscribing it "To Steve - Stevie Wonder." Located next to the inscription is the letter "S" and what appears to be Wonder's fingerprint (impressed in black ink). The song Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day, which was co-written by Wonder, was one of three chart toppers from his 1968 album For Once In My Life. Wonder was only eighteen years old at the time this song was released; however, he was already considered a top Motown performer, having signed his first contract at the age of twelve. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, he is widely considered to be one of the most gifted and influential musicians of his era. The sheet music (9 x 12 inches), which features a picture of Wonder on the cover, is in Excellent condition and has been attractively mounted and framed to total dimensions of 21 x 24 inches. LOA from Steve Grad & John Reznikoff/PSA DNA. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. . SOLD FOR $406.00
