Presented is a high-grade complete set of Fleer's "comeback" issue. This set marks the first basketball set produced by Fleer since 1961. Fleer stopped producing basketball cards after 1961 while their powerhouse competitor Topps continued to rule the basketball card market through the late 1960s until the mid-80s. This set is loaded with superstars and rookie cards of future Hall of Famers, highlighted with the rookie card of Michael Jordan. This set exhibits bright colors, sharp corners, and an overall pack-fresh quality. We have selected four cards to be graded and encapsulated by PSA. Includes: # 1 Jabbar (Nr/Mt-Mt), 7 Barkley ( PSA MINT 9 ), 9 Bird (Nr/Mt-Mt), 26 Drexler (Nr/Mt), 27 Dumars (Nr/Mt), 31 Erving (Nr/Mt-Mt), 32 Ewing (70/30 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt), 53 Magic (30/70 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt), 57 Jordan ( PSA NM-MT 8 ), 68 K. Malone ( PSA MINT 9 ), 77 Mullin (Nr/Mt), 82 Olajuwon ( PSA MINT 9 ), 109 Thomas (30/70 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt), 121 D. Wilkins (Nr/Mt), 131 Worthy (Nr/Mt-Mt), 132 Checklist (30/70 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt). The balance of the cards grade 98% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt and 2% slightly lesser. Also included are three stickers from the sticker set (Jabbar, Bird, Dantley). Total 132 cards (plus three stickers). Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $1,160.00
