Andy Warhol original print entitled SAS Passenger Ticket . Screenprint on white paper, 1968. Limited edition of 250, signed in pencil by Andy Warhol on verso. Published for a Warhol exhibition at the Moderna Museet, Stockholm. Printer: Stig Arbam AB, Malm. 26.75 x 48.75 inches. This is a rare, very early, and very well documented original Andy Warhol screenprint, which appears in all comprehensive presentations of Warhol's work. The screenprint is framed with a window on reverse which allows Warhol's huge signature ("10") in the lower right, which is a full ten inches across, to be viewed if desired. Warhol was shot in June of 1968, the year of issue of this work. Most generally available Warhol screenprints are much more recent than this early example. Excellent condition. Reserve $1,000.
