Three original 1979 Phillies program cover paintings by Dick Perez. Watercolor on board. Each measures 15 x 20 inches. Each signed. One program cover painting features Steve Carlton, Larry Christenson, Randy Lynch, and Dick Ruthven. The second program cover features a montage of Rawly Eastwick, Tug McGraw, Ron Reed, Doug Bird, Nino Espinosa, and Warren Brusstar. The third has Greg Luzinski, Garry Maddox, Bob Boone, and Bake McBride. Viewing the original artwork with the published program covers, it is particularly fascinating to see that several player images (Bird and Espinosa on one program cover art, and Luzinski on another) are die-cut and added to the canvas separately to achieve a greater illusion of depth.
