Magnificent 8 x 10 inch black-and-white photograph of Ruth at bat is beautifully signed and inscribed "To My Pal, Clyde Brownstone, Sincerely Babe Ruth" in bold blue fountain pen. The signature and inscription are extremely bold, grading a solid "9" on a scale of "1 to 10." The photograph features Ruth's mighty follow-through swing, at the plate in his Yankee away uniform, with photographers in the background. The photo has some very light creases in the large border margins, which do not affect the signature or photograph but are mentioned for the sake of accuracy, otherwise in outstanding Excellent condition.
