This 1919 World Series ticket stub is from Game 3 at Comiskey Park. The ticket has been encapsulated by PSA. After throwing the first two games, on October 3, 1919, the White Sox won Game 3 by a score of 3-0, providing a little drama for the masses that did not know, or believe, that "the fix" was in. Almost 30,000 fans were on hand at Comiskey Park to see the match up between Ray Fisher (14-5) and White Sox rookie pitcher Dickie Kerr (13-7). The high quality of play exhibited by the White Sox in Game 3 provides a glimpse of what the outcome of the 1919 World Series almost certainly would have been, had not the evils of gambling, greed, poor character, and poor judgment corrupted the final outcome of the Series. A couple of very insignificant creases and a touch of corner wear, but still in overall about Excellent condition.
