1915 Cracker Jack Cobb Sets New Record in REA’s May Monthly Auction

Chester, NJ - May 19, 2025 - REA wrapped up its May Monthly Auction on Sunday night, led by a very attractive 1915 E145 Cracker Jack #30 Ty Cobb PSA EX-MT 6 that sold for $55,200. This is the highest sale of the iconic card in this grade, and it led the way in an event that included nearly 2,600 lots spanning more than 150 years of hobby history.

Additionally, the event included a 1909 E92 Dockman & Sons Honus Wagner Batting PSA GOOD 2 that sold for $8,700, which was also a record for the card in this grade.

  • 1933 R319 Goudey #53 Babe Ruth SGC FAIR 1.5 - $7,200
  • 1965 Topps Football #122 Joe Namath Rookie PSA EX 5 - "Butterfly" Variation - $5,400
