Team cabinet photo capturing of the St. Louis Maroons, circa 1886, posing together in front of a brick structure. Few team cabinet photos, of any team, date from the late 19th century! Sixteen team members are pictured, including Jack Glasscock, Fred Dunlap, Charles Sweeney, and manager Gus Schmelz. The photo (7-3/8 x 5-1/2 inches) is in Excellent condition overall. The mount (9-1/4 x 7-1/4 inches) features a faded copyright stamp below the photo, water damage along the top edge, and a repaired top-right corner. There are multiple handwritten notations on the reverse. Fair condition overall.
