Babe Ruth personal check dated January 13, 1936 and signed by "G. H. Ruth" in black fountain pen along the base. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and graded the signature NM-MT 8. The check, drawn on the Chemical Bank & Trust Company of New York, is made out to "Seaboard Air Line" in the amount of $50. Ruth's preprinted name appears along the left border. A number of stamped endorsements appear on the reverse. Babe Ruth personal checks have long been a favorite of autograph collectors due to their inherent authenticity and the fact that Ruth’s signature is always well executed. The offered check is particularly desirable due to the fact that it is made out entirely in Ruth’s hand. The check (8.5 x 3.25 inches) has normal bank cancellation stamps and holes. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
