Wilson "Official Little League" baseball signed in black ink by Hall of Fame outfielder Roberto Clemente on a side panel. As JSA notes in its accompanying letter, there is indication of a signature removal (Bob Friend) on the baseball. Clemente signed balls are rare because of his tragic death in 1972 at the age of 38. While this ball doesn't technically qualify as a Roberto Clemente single-signed ball, it certainly displays as one. Given the extreme rarity of Clemente single-signed balls, the offered ball would make a fine representative example for even the most advanced collections, most of which are missing this key Hall of Famer rarity. The ball displays a couple scattered abrasions and a few spots of light toning. Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $500.
