Presented is a very attractive, mostly mid-grade near-complete set of 1954 Bowman baseball consisting of 211 different cards out of 224 in a complete set, highlighted by twelve Hall of Famers. 1954 Bowman is one of the most overlooked (and compared to many other sets, most reasonably valued) issues from the golden age of the 1950s. Missing the following thirteen cards for completion of a basic 224-card set: #1 Rizzuto, 10 Erskine, 15 Ashburn, 45 Kiner, 58 Reese, 65 Mantle, 89 Mays, 90 Campanella, 95 Roberts, 132 Feller, 138 Hodges, 145 Martin, and 170 Snider. Includes both variations of #33 Raschi. Condition is 19% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a couple Nr/Mt), 49% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 32% lesser (including some due to penned initials on the reverses). Keys: #6 Fox (Vg+), 50 Kell (Ex), 57 Wilhelm (Vg-Ex), 62 Slaughter (Vg+), 64 Mathews (100/0 T/B, otherwise Vg), 66 Piersall (Gd), 84 Doby (pen marks on reverse, otherwise Vg+), 101 Larsen RC (Gd), 110 Schoendienst (Ex-Mt), 161 Berra (Pr-Fr), 164 Wynn (Vg), 177 Ford (Gd), and 196 Lemon (Vg-Ex+). An outstanding opportunity to acquire a near-complete set of cards from this popular Bowman issue. Total: 212 cards (near set of 211 plus one variation). Reserve $300.
