1952 Topps Mickey Mantle "Rookie Ball" featuring the rare full-name signature "Mickey Charles Mantle" across the sweet spot. Mantle's signature, which begins on one side panel, extends across the sweet spot, and ends on the opposite side panel, has been boldly scripted in blue fine-point marker and grades "9." Mickey Mantle full-name single-signed balls are the exception rather than the rule. They are far rarer than most collectors realize, and have always been extremely highly prized. This is an outstanding example! The ball features an illustration of Mantle's 1952 Topps rookie card on the panel below the sweet spot, and an illustration of the back of Mantle's 1952 Topps rookie card on the panel above the sweet spot.
