One-sheet movie poster (27 x 41 inches) issued for the 1955 Universal release Revenge of the Creature . The colorful illustration pictures the Creature holding a woman as the citizens of the city flee in panic before him. This was the second entry in Universal's "Creature" trilogy and the plot revolves around Gill-Man's capture and subsequent escape from the Ocean Harbor Oceanarium in Florida. The poster displays a few tiny holes both along the fold lines and in the main body of the poster; however, all are extremely unobtrusive and do not detract in the least from its overall Excellent to Mint appearance. A large, vintage handwritten notation in red crayon, heralding the coming movie Long Grey Line starring Tyrone Power, appears on the reverse. Accompanied by a COA from MPgrading, which has graded the poster FINE+ 7.5. SOLD FOR $1,680
