Magnificent ultra high-grade near-complete subset of nine different golfers (out of 10 in the subset, missing only #26 Hagan) including Bobby Jones and Gene Sarazen from the popular 1928 W. A. & A. C. Churchman "Men Of The Moment In Sport" set, each graded and encapsulated NM-MT 8 by PSA. This 50-card multisport issue includes only ten golfers. Each card from this set features a caricature of one of the greatest athletes of the day from their respective sports. Inscribed as "A Series of 50" on the reverse, the small-card variety of "Men Of The Moment In Sport" cards are scarce and compliment the rarer 12-card larger version of the same year. The collection consists of the following: #24 Compston (one of only four at this level with none graded higher), 25 Duncan (one of only four at this level with none graded higher), 27 Bobby Jones (HOF), 28 Jurado (one of only four at this level with just one graded higher), 29 Mitchell (only one graded higher), 30 Perkins (only one graded higher), 31 Gene Sarazen (HOF, none graded higher), 32 Tolley (only one graded higher), and 33 Wethered (none graded higher).
